Isaac Monson is currently Vice President, Operations and Business Development, and brings over a decade of professional safety, security, and law enforcement experience, including eight years as a police officer with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, working as a safety engineer at a Fortune-500 heavy manufacturer, and private industry safety and risk management consulting.
Isaac’s experience includes on-the-ground safety and security management in an OSHA VPP Star, ISO:14001 and ISO:18001 manufacturing site, successful development and management of the Incident and Injury Investigation program, Incident/Injury Root Cause Analysis Process, and Corrective Action Management Process. He also has advanced training and experience in Investigations, Physical Security, Violence Prevention and Active Shooter Prevention and Response, Transportation Safety, Motor Vehicle Crash Scene Investigations, Emergency Scene Management, National Incident Management Systems (NIMS), Crowd Control and Riot Response, Drug and Alcohol Impairment Recognition, Criminal Investigation and First Aid/CPR/First Response.
Isaac’s consulting work includes EHS client consulting and custom workplace violence prevention and preparedness solutions. He is also an active workplace violence prevention and preparedness speaker at the Indiana University School of Public Health, Eastern Kentucky University Safety Program, ASSE, NECA, AGC, and local chamber of commerce events. He also serves as a professional mentor for students pursuing law enforcement careers through the Gustavus Adolphus College Alumni Mentoring Program.
