Debra’s background includes over 25 years of safety and health experience. Her education includes receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Minnesota, she is a Certified Safety Executive-World Safety Organization, Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)-Board of Certified Safety Professionals, possesses an Advanced Safety Certificate from the Minnesota Safety Council, she is a authorized OSHA 500 & 501 Instructor, authorized OSHA 10 Hour and 30 Hour Instructor, Authorized MSHA Instructor, Certified Scaffold Trainer through the Scaffold Industry Association, Hazard Recognition Plus™ System Certified Master Champion, Zero Injury Program (CII) Champion, and a highly requested trainer throughout the safety industry.

Debra’s previous work history includes acting as Construction Safety Specialist for 3M Company Worldwide, the Safety and Health Director for M.A. Mortenson (Voted Top 100 Contractor’s in US by ENR), the Director of Field Operations and Safety for a National Precast Company and worked in the construction trade installing precast concrete for 5 years. She also served as a Senior OCIP/CCIP (Owner Controlled Insurance Program/Contractor Controlled Insurance Program) Consultant on several of the larger construction projects located throughout the United States. Debra is a Board Member of the World Safety Organization, a professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, Association of General Contractors of Minnesota, National Safety Council, and the Association of Women Contractors.
